Château Beychevelle : The Iconic Brand

Château Beychevelle is one of the Médoc’s most iconic estates, known for its remarkable consistency from one vintage to the next. Its privileged location near the Gironde estuary brings a beneficial climatic influence, helping to support generous yields and balanced ripening. Merlot, which accounts for around 40% of the vineyard, plays an important role in the estate’s distinctive style. Its roundness and softness complement the tannic structure of Cabernet Sauvignon, while a fine mineral freshness gives Beychevelle its signature combination of elegance, harmony and charm.

Meet the Team: MING FU

“I have been looking after the Asian markets at Roland Coiffe & Associés for the past seven years. Throughout that time, Château Beychevelle has remained one of our most sought-after wines, with steady sales and strong customer loyalty.

In my view, its success comes down to several factors. The name is easy to remember, and its image has strong appeal. It is also a very approachable wine to drink, with a style that suits the tastes of many consumers.

Finally, Beychevelle offers consistent quality, good availability and pricing that remains coherent from one vintage to the next. It is a reliable choice in the market.”
